Dental health is a vital part of your pet’s overall wellbeing. Even when pets’ teeth appear to be clean, bacteria can exist below the gum line and do damage that you can’t see with the naked eye. That is why we recommend and perform comprehensive oral health assessment and treatment, aka COHAT.
Our dental package includes pre-anesthetic exam, IV catheter and fluid therapy, gas anesthesia, as well as state-of-the-art anesthetic monitoring including EKG, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, and respiratory rate. During a COHAT, your pet’s whole mouth will be radiographed, the teeth examined, scaled and polished. We will discuss with you if further treatment is warranted.
